PRP Hair
PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) hair therapy is a natural treatment that uses your own blood's concentrated growth factors to stimulate hair follicles, promote new growth, and improve hair thickness and quality.

What is PRP Hair Therapy?
PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) hair therapy is a three-step medical treatment in which a patient's blood is drawn, processed, and then injected into the scalp. The concentrated platelets contain growth factors that stimulate cell reproduction and promote natural healing. When injected into the scalp, PRP activates dormant hair follicles and triggers new hair growth.
The PRP Process
The procedure begins with a simple blood draw. The blood is then placed in a centrifuge, which separates the platelet-rich plasma from other blood components. The resulting PRP, which contains 3 to 5 times the normal concentration of growth factors, is then carefully injected into the scalp at the level of the hair follicles using fine needles.
Benefits of PRP for Hair
PRP therapy offers a natural approach to hair restoration using your own body's healing mechanisms. Benefits include stimulation of dormant hair follicles, increased hair thickness and density, improved hair growth rate, reduced hair shedding, enhanced scalp health, and the ability to complement other hair restoration treatments.
Treatment Schedule and Results
A typical PRP hair treatment protocol consists of 3 to 4 sessions spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart, followed by maintenance sessions every 4 to 6 months. Most patients begin to notice a decrease in hair shedding within the first month, with visible new growth and increased density becoming apparent after 2 to 3 months of treatment.
